In this video I am presenting on ZenCash at the Texas Bitcoin Conference. It was a packed room of about 150 people. The presentation went a little well, although I rushed through the second half due to time limits.
I had a great time talking, and made the major points I was trying to make, but could have done better. I will do better next time.
What happened…I was scheduled to speak from 11 to 11:30, so thought I had 30 minutes. I prepared 20 slides, and started at a 30 minute pace. At the 10 minute mark the organizer (and founder of Factom), Paul Snow, told me I had 5 minutes left, because at the 15 minute mark I need to start taking questions. I sped up, and he wanted to take questions at the 15 minute mark, but allowed me to go to the 20 minute mark, but did not allow questions afterward.
If you look at the rest of the Texas Bitcoin Conference, mine is pretty much the shortest one. One of the AV guys told me afterwards that he thought mine was one of the better ones. I asked him why, and he told me that more people entered the room than left it during my presentation!
However, it was my fault for not asking explicitly how much time I had to talk. I will do that next time.
