What is Amp?

It is a form of cryptocurrency that runs on the Ethereum blockchain, and its market denotation is AMP.

It is used to provide collateral for a diverse range of transactions. By using the power of blockchain technology and smart contracts, Amp can secure payments and transfers for things like regular digital payments, loans and even real estate sales.

In essence, it allows individuals on both sides of a transaction to mitigate risk by putting a fixed amount of cryptocurrency to one side that can be used as collateral for transactions. So, if the payment fails, the AMP tokens can be liquidated in order to cover the costs.

AMP has attracted a significant user base since its inception, and it is currently used by the Flexa Network to collateralise all of its transactions.

Should I buy AMP tokens today?

If you have carried out extensive research and feel Amp is a project you believe in, buying AMP coins and holding them for the long term could be an effective way to speculate on future price growth.

However, before getting involved in the action, make sure you are cognisant of the risks of investing and the innate volatility of cryptocurrencies.

Will AMP make me rich?

While this is unlikely, it isn’t possible for a single cryptocurrency investment to make tokenholders rich; just look at Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin.
