Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday via Truth Social, the social media platform he launched the previous year, the release of a collection of 45,000 fictional non-fungible tokens (NFT).
The Donald Trump Digital Trading Cards are similar to collectible baseball cards, according to the collection’s website. The Polygon tokens cost $99 and may be bought using ETH or fiat currency.
At the checkout, buyers choose the number of Trump Trading Cards to buy. Buying 45 NFTs together worth $4455 guarantees a ticket to a gala dinner with Trump. Collectors who buy a digital trading card will be entered in a “sweepstakes” to win a zoom call, a dinner in Miami, or a cocktail hour at Mar-a-Lago.
According to the site, “no Trump Digital Trading Card will have more than 20 copies in existence.”
Despite Banning Petro cryptocurrency throughout the country in September, 2019, Trump promoted his new collection. He stated on his website: “GET YOUR CARDS NOW! Only $99 each! Would make a great Christmas gift. Don’t Wait. They will be gone, I believe, very quickly!”
The former first lady, Melania Trump, already released her NFT collection “Cobalt Blue Eyes” almost a year ago.

Its floor price is 0.19 ETH, or $230, more than double the original $99 price. A unique trading card portraying the 45th president holding a torch in front of the Statue of Liberty is marketed for 20 ETH, or $24,000.
Dune Analytics says 13,000 people minted 3.5 tokens after the collection’s release. 115 consumers bought 45 NFTs, the minimal number that ensures a dinner with Trump. 17 bought 100 NFTs, the maximum authorised to mint.
