Ran Neuner, host of CNBC show ‘Cryptotrader’ as well as the founder of Onchain, has recently been advising investors to slowly wean away from assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in favour of Ripple’s XRP token. In this regard, Neuner was recently found to have tweeted the following message:
These hash wars highlight why everyone should dump BTC and BCH and just put all their money into XRP!

“These hash wars highlight why everyone should dump BTC and BCH and just put all their money into XRP!”
A More Detailed Look at the Matter
Earlier this year, Neuner had made a bold prediction where he claimed that BTC would close in on the $50K price point by the end of the year. However, as we all know, that prediction is highly unlikely to materialize, especially after the recent bear run that has left nearly all of the top 10 altcoins in the ‘red-zone’.
Jokingly enough, Neuner was quick to admit that he was way off with his predictions by tweeting the following message:
“For the record, I am pinning this tweet. Bitcoin will not finish 2018 at $50,000”.
Lastly, it is worth remembering that Neuner has not been the only one to predict amazing things for Bitcoin, as earlier this year, Fundstrat’s Tom Lee too made a host of outlandish claims in regards to the closing value of Bitcoin by the end of the year. Lee said time and again that Bitcoin would round out the year at a high of around $25K (a value which he then swiftly changed to $15K once he saw that the crypto market was dwindling as the year went on)
Final Take
While nothing concrete can be said as of now, many analysts have said that the recent BCH hard fork has been one of the primary causes for the value of the premier digital asset to drop irreversibly. Not only that, the effects of BCH’s ongoing hash war have also had its fair share of effects on Bitcoin, since the altcoin now stands at a meagre trade value of around $5,608.
