John Carvalho (also known within the crypto-community as “Bitcoin Error Log”) was recently quoted as saying in an interview that he would fight Roger Ver for the Bitcoin.com domain name if the latter would be willing to do so.
ALRIGHT PEOPLE! I have challenged @rogerkver to a duel for the biggest prize in crypto, https://t.co/h2gLo9ePtU, and he is interested! What do you want for the format? What should I put at stake?! https://t.co/rVUDd92Gqi

It is also worth mentioning that this is not the first time the two individuals have faced off against each other, however, this time around the proposition seems to involve real physical contact rather than mere intellectual discourse.
During his recent appearance on the Crypto Insider podcast, Mr. Carvalho clearly stated that he was more than willing to accept “a jiu-jitsu fight challenge against Ver” even though he was clearly at a disadvantage— since Roger is a brown-belt in the above stated branch of martial arts.
“I’ll train with the bears of Romania if I have to take Bitcoin.com (from Ver). I’m not interested in exploiting it in any special way, even though it’s an extremely valuable domain. My main interest would definitely be in seeing it be the tool that everybody wishes it would be. You know, something that was for onboarding people and educating people about Bitcoin — the real Bitcoin.”
More About Bitcoin.com
As many of our regular readers may remember, Bitcoin.com has recently been on the receiving end of a lot criticism for promoting Bitcoin Cash (the original hard fork of the premier digital currency) as being Bitcoin itself. In response, the crypto community at large condemned these actions as being “a social attack against the very fabric of BTC.”
Also, for those of our readers who may remember, Carvalho has previously interviewed Roger. During the conversation it was quite clear that Ver was miffed by Carvalho’s line of questioning as he continued to ask him to relinquish control of the Bitcoin.com domain name.
Final Take
In closing, it should be pointed out that Mr Ver is fully aware of the challenge that has been put forth by John Carvalho to him. In a recent episode of the popular ‘Crypto Insider Podcast’ with Peter McCormack, the host conveyed the proposal to Ver, to which he simply smirked and did not give a definitive answer.
The interview in question is yet to be released and should soon be available online within the coming few days.
Knowing the history that Roger Ver and John Carvalho have shared over the past couple of years, it is quite evident that there exists some bad blood between the two. It now remains to be seen how this issue plays out from here on end.
