Discover Moon, a browser extension that offers an alternative payment method when shopping online. It enables users to pay with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, or Ether, directly on Amazon.com.
This is a positive development for the crypto space in terms of adoption, as many people worldwide will be able to use cryptocurrencies in a major e-commerce outlet. The introduction of the Moon into the crypto market was underscored by Twitter information released by @Bitcoin on January 23. Online shoppers on Amazon will use Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to pay for their purchases.
How to use the extension browser
To get started with the Moon browser, you have to create an account and then download the extension. Currently, the browser works only with Coinbase wallet, but it plans to include other crypto exchanges. The team behind the browser extension believes that it will soon include other e-commerce outlets such as Walmart and eBay in their extension.
Using the extension is simple: once you are in the checkout time, Moon displays a button ‘Pay with Moon.’ The system charges no fees for the entire process.
Moon believes that it has come at the right time when the crypto space is struggling with the issue of adoption. The project will fuel cryptocurrency adoption worldwide by allowing shoppers to use the digital assets to pay for their purchases across different e-commerce outlets.
The Moon embraces a privacy policy and only collects basic information from users such as their first and last names, e-mail address, and others to enable them t remain in compliance with KYC and AML policies, as well as requests from governments and regulatory policies.
Installing the Moon browser extension
After installing the extension, the user is prompted to create an account. The browser is compatible with various devices, both iOS and Android.
