Meanwhile, the latest transfer of assets worth $2.6M seems to added intricacy to the continuing investigations.
PeckShield revealed the attacker made several transactions following the hack.
The first transfer involved $2,702,091 (756.69 ETH) to an initial wallet before the $2,638,996 (740 ETH) move to a Tornado Cash-associated address.

Meanwhile, these transactions catalyzed skepticism within the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, with many questioning the intentions behind the attack.
The protocol suffered an attack that targeted user vaults, triggering an emergency warning.
While stablecoins such as ULTRA and mkUSD remained secure, the event catalyzed a significant total value locked (TVL) plunge, swiftly dipping to $115M from $220M.
Whitehat rescue claims
The hacker sent an on-chain message six hours after the incident, claiming it was a whitehat rescue. The notification came from 0x2d4…7507a address and promised a refund.
Nonetheless, the community remains skeptical about the alleged rescue.

Prisma Finance exhibits massive bearishness amid the hacking developments, dropping 10% and 40% over the past day & week to hover at $0.2705.
