Dogecoin is once again making headlines, this time, thanks to a popular male grooming product maker, Axe. According to the company’s recent announcement, it is preparing to launch a limited run of Dogecan — a Dogecoin-themed body spray.

Axe announced this new series on Twitter, and according to what is known so far, Dogecans will be given out to people for free. All that users need to do in order to become qualified for receiving Dogecoin body spray is to register on Axe’s website. One thing to note, however, is that the promotion only includes DOGE fans from the US.
Meanwhile, Axe has already started its Dogecan promotion by sending out a number of early samples. The samples were sent to multiple popular DOGE personalities, such as Billy Markus, one of the coin’s co-founders. Then, there was Lil Mook, who is a popular musician and a major Dogecoin promoter. And, finally, the company also sent a sample to Dogecoin Rise — a popular DOGE-oriented Twitter account.

Axe planned this for a while
Looking back, it would appear that Axe has been planning this campaign for months now. It originally teased the community back in April, when it mentioned that it would create a crypto-scented body spray if DOGE manages to go beyond $1.
Unfortunately, DOGE never climbed that high, but the firm seems to have decided to create the spray anyway, describing it as having a ‘dang musk.’ Alongside the deodorant, there is also a card in the package that says “We’re going to the moon, in this can you’ll find the crypto-confidence you need to get there.”
Like all cryptocurrencies, DOGE/USD has experienced a considerable price drop since reaching its ATH 0f $0.73 back in mid-May. Two and a half months later, and the coin’s price is 76% lower, currently sitting at $0.17.
