Have you ever wondered which NFTs your favorite Twitter influencers, TikTok creators, and DAO members are actually trading? A new Web 3.0 app called Context has made tracking that data a lot easier.
Launched in beta on Friday, Context feels like Instagram or Pinterest for non-fungible tokens. It lets you search by NFT collections, artists, and DAOs like Friends with Benefits.
If you are into NFTs, Context is the best way to stay current on whatâs going on. Follow the wallets you care about and see what everyone is minting, buying, & selling in one beautiful feed. pic.twitter.com/XKwfKYx14p

Unlike other NFT wallet data trawlers like Nansen, Context is free. Once youâve connected a MetaMask wallet and selected a username, you can search the platformâs database, follow your favorite artists, and share or bid on collections.Â
Contextâs stream of NFTs is also very prettyâespecially once youâve found a collector with good taste. The app indexes Ethereum-based NFTs and provides market data, like reserve prices and bids, from marketplaces such as OpenSea, Rarible, and Larva Labsâ CryptoPunks.
âOur vision is to create a community-powered contextual layer for Web3,â Context co-founder Adam Ludwin, who sold his blockchain company Chain to the group behind Stellar in 2018, wrote in a blog post on Mirror.
Ludwin was also president of a short video app called Byte, which Discord acquired earlier this year. He co-founded Context with former Stripe software engineer Luke Miles, who tweeted on Friday that the service is about tracking "people you care about."
i've spent most of 2021 working on @context â today it's finally out. connect your wallet and we'll show you a feed of people you care about. https://t.co/dBk4OpmmbX

Should the app become successful, it will prove that adding a social layer to NFT collections is in hot demand. Twitter will need to watch this space.
