On Friday 25, at 12 EST, Spatial is hosting a "Peace and Unity" gallery event in a brand new NFT environment "Peace Pavilion", created by artist Max Sheika, to raise funds for Ukraine. In collaboration with Polycount and Opensea, art is being featured from Ringo Starr (yes the Beatle), Krista Kim, Vogue Singapore, and many others. The art evokes messages of peace, unity and freedom, and all the artists have agreed to have their work displayed in a sign of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
All primary sales from this space, as well as a portion of secondary sales, will go directly to support the people of Ukraine. We hope you can join us, as we come together as a community to promote peace, unity and freedom across the world, and hope for a quick end to the war in Ukraine.
The Peace Pavilion
Set in the heart of a vast, golden Ukrainian wheat field and under a gentle blue Sky, the Peace Pavilion is a place of tranquility and calmness. Ukrainian 3D artist Max Sheika invites us into a compelling story of turning pain into power as he honors his family still in Ukraine, those who fled, and all who have been affected.
Built in the Metaverse on Spatial.io, the large floor-to-ceiling windows give you a 360 boundless view out to the horizon as soothing sounds of birds and moving water fill the air. Sheika’s pieces incorporate a powerful mix of Ukrainian Baroque and Empires styles as well as some striking contemporary elements.
“Inside the pavilion you will find a portal in the ceiling, a portal to a peaceful sky where no fighter jets fly, where no rockets are whistling. There are no explosions, no roaring sounds of tanks,” Sheika expresses. “Just a peaceful blue sky, a dream of every Ukrainian, of every human being.”
