Decentraland’s Metaverse Fashion Week is approaching, but that doesn’t mean Emote creators should take a break—MVFW isn’t only about Wearables! The best way to catch a fashionista’s eye with a snazzy new Wearable is by strutting your stuff on the runway and putting the show in ‘Fashion Show’. The community will be looking for the best stylish and sassy Emotes to use on the catwalk, so Emote creators better find their inner diva and get to work!
To encourage Emote creators to get into the MVFW mood, the Decentraland Foundation is holding an Emote contest for the occasion. In addition to MANA prizes, the first place winning Emote will also be featured in the Community fashion show, so there’s no time to waste—get creating Emote designers!
What do you have to do to enter?
The contest is open to anyone. Just create, publish in the Marketplace, and submit your best and most unique Emote for the runway by filling out the official form: link
On the form you’ll be asked for your email, so you can be contacted if you’re chosen as a winner, and for the link to your Emote in the Marketplace. If you’re still waiting on approval from the Curation Committee at the time of entering, you can submit a link to a video of your Emote. But remember, to be considered, your Emote must already be approved and published by the contest deadline, so submit your Emotes for publishing at least a week before the contest closes to be on the safe side.
