Snoop Dogg is widely known in the cryptocurrency industry for being one of the biggest NFT collectors who has promoted its growth by supporting successful projects such as Yuga Labs. He has been identified as the man behind the famous but pseudonymous NFT Collector Cozomo deâ Medici, making him the owner of millions of dollars in non-fungible tokens ranging from metaverse lands to âblue chipâ collections.
Snoop Aims to Transform the Entertainment Industry
The rapper stated that he has long felt like a part of the Roobet family, as he shares the same vision and enthusiasm as the company for doing new and innovative things for their fans.
âThis partnership just feels natural, and weâre going to blaze a trail for the future of online entertainment. I been sayinâ Roooooo for a long time now â they bring the ultimate player experience, we share the love of doing new things, and we care about our fans â so together weâre gonna change the game and do it better than itâs ever been doneâ
Matt Duea, one of the co-founders of Roobet, said that from the first day, the Roobet team wanted to bring the world of entertainment closer to iGaming. He believes Snoop Dogg could be a big player in this mission, considering that he is one of the most recognized celebrities in the music (and NFT) industry.
âSince day one, our mission has been to push the boundaries of what a gaming brand can be, and Snoopâs a real visionary. Together, weâre going to truly revolutionize the online entertainment experience,â added Duea.
Snoop Doggâs Love for Cryptocurrency
Partnering with a crypto casino is just another of Snoop Doggâs endeavors. The rapper has been involved in crypto for a long time. He has been a vocal supporter of Bitcoin since at least 2013.

In 2018, Snoop Dogg appeared as a special guest at the XRP Community Night during the Consensus blockchain conference in New York City. During the event, he talked about his love for cryptocurrency and even received a gift of XRP from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
But not everything has been nice in Doggâs history. He has promoted different ICOs that have not been successful, such as âsparkleCoinâ and âBillionare token.â
Snoop Dogg has also been involved in the NFT space, releasing his own collection of digital art pieces, including one that featured a smoking skeleton with the words âAinât No Funâ above it. He also performed live alongside Eminem using his NFT Avatar as part of the show and has helped other artists get into the space.
Also, his pseudonymous alter ego donated 22 NFTs valued at over $2 million to the LACMA museum recently in an effort to spread the appreciation for digital art and non-fungible tokens as a legitimate form of art. According to CNBC, his NFT collection is worth approximately $17 million.
