“The NFT community is composed of so many talented people exploring new ways to make and experience art, and I’m thrilled to share their voices in film. These are brilliant and complex artists of a whole new generation, making unprecedented work in a new space," said Dan Sickles, director of I’M NEW HERE. “With our NEW HERE NFT drop, we've created a novel system to reward artists for their participation in our film in perpetuity, while offering our community of collectors a ton of awesome benefits."
I’M NEW HERE is also the first-ever NFT-funded film to directly support cryptoartists. Fifteen percent of gross revenue from the purchase of each of the 10,000 NFTs in the NEW HERE NFT collection will go directly to the film’s featured artists. This innovative approach to independent filmmaking allows each NEW HERE NFT holder to personally be a part of bringing the film to life while giving back to the artists that have built the community. NEW HERE NFTs are available to mint now at www.newhere.xyz/mint.
“In I’M NEW HERE, Dan Sickles captures the limitless possibilities of generative art and goes beyond the headlines to offer newcomers a thoughtful window into the movement we’re building,” said Tyler Hobbs, generative artist. “NFTs are a powerful but often misunderstood artistic tool, so I’m excited that Dan is using this documentary to demystify Web3 and introduce our incredible artist community to new audiences, while simultaneously finding a way to benefit the artists.”
